In this time of national struggle, it’s comforting to know there is One we can count on to be pure and clean, always. God, make us aware of our shadows and give us a clean heart.

Halloween Quest
Mr Craig quested for and eventually caught me. Halloween last year, just weeks after our wedding.
“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7
Ice Season
Undoubtedly the most amazing seasonal sport I have ever seen: Colorado’s Ouray Ice Park. See the ice climbers in the middle of the photo. A festival is held each January for climbers of all skill levels at this man made park in one of the most beautiful gorges in Colorado. Breathtaking!
The breath of God produces ice, and the broad waters become frozen.
Job 37:10 (NIV)
Train Time
The prime time for train travel is long past but this clock at Denver’s Union Station keeps on ticking. In days gone by, the station was plain and purely functional, but it was refurbished recently and is now gorgeous inside with an Art Deco design throughout. If you are in Denver, it’s a must see! For the Time photo challenge.
And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.
And it was so.”
Genesis 1:13-15
Vibrant Flower
The day before my wedding my Matron of Honor and I went to the Colorado State University Flower Trial Garden to gush over the blooms. It was mid October but unseasonably warm so there were plenty of blossoms to ogle over. This one stood out for the Vibrant challenge. I also love the little critter who found a blushing pink petal to perch upon. Now that we’ve been married three months, I hope to find more time to blog and read your posts!
I lie down at night and fall asleep. I awake in the morning—healthy, strong, vibrant—because the Eternal supports me.
Psalm 3:5
Wedding Victory
Victory is the joy of finding someone wonderful to love for a lifetime!
We celebrate great victories because they do not come easily. This marriage came to me after years of disappointing dates, pressing through hopeless and lonely nights, facing fears of intimacy, overcoming the panic of losing autonomy, putting past hurts behind me, and wrestling to discover God’s will for my life. We celebrated our victory of love in a fairy tale Colorado wedding on Oct 11th, 2015!
My beloved is mine and I am his.

Ornately Brilliant
If you ever get a chance to see Cartier’s Brilliant exhibit, go! It is breathtaking and includes jewelry from princes, princesses, Hollywood movie stars and more. I’m a bit late for the Ornate challenge but better late than never, right?
Especially in light of the inexplicable horror in France yesterday I thought this scripture was appropriate for today’s post…
The light of the righteous shines brightly, but the lamp of the wicked goes out. Proverbs 13:8-10 NET
Colorado Office Grid
I had serious bicycle accident in July and haven’t done a blog post since. It feels great to get back into photography! I took this shot of my office and then looked at this week’s photo challenge. Thought it fit the bill well. In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. Hebrews 1:10 (NIV)
Doors in Colorado Springs
I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. John 10:9
If you are ever in Colorado Springs, make sure you visit The Broadmoor. Built at the turn of the century, it drips with elegance, luxury, and grandeur. If you can’t afford to stay, have dinner or drinks in one of the restaurants overlooking the lake and be swept away by the romance of an era gone by. Some of the lovely doors captured during our recent trip are perfect for the “Door” challenge.
I also included the iron door of the Rockledge Bed and Breakfast in nearby Manitou Springs. Built in the late 1800’s, it is a romantic combination of breathtaking Colorado beauty and Italian charm. We were greeted with wine and cheese, were treated to a delicious breakfast on the patio overlooking Pikes Peak and had fantastic, romantic getaway weekend!
Intricate Saloon
The intricate interior of the fantasticly fun Bucksnort Saloon in Sphinx Park, Colorado. Built in the late 1800’s this building was originally a mercantile store that served the men of the Denver and South Park railroad. Bring a dollar or your business card and leave a legacy!
How great are your works, O Lord!
Your plans are very intricate!
