Weekly Photo Challenge: Green

I love Colorado so much but the winters can be long, especially when the snow starts in October and ends in June. Ack!  After those winters, I almost cry with joy when I see the first sprig of green grass. However, we always have our lovely evergreen trees, whose boughs drop low but jauntily spring back up when the sun melts the snow, usually within a couple of days. (Get involved in the Weekly Challenge here.)

Blue Spruce (I think)

But whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
whatever they do prospers.
Psalm 1: 2-4
