Weekly Photo Challenge: Geometry of Ice

Thanks to my inspirational fellow bloggers, the “Geometry” challenge finally clicked in my head. I’m not much of math person, this is about as geometric as my mind gets.  A micro shot of the ice on the frozen Poudre River, a little northwest of Fort Collins.

From whose womb comes the ice?
Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens?
When the waters become hard as stone
When the surface of the deep is frozen?
