I remember those elk in Estes Park. I was amazed to see one in somebody’s yard! Naturally, I didn’t have a camera then…bummer of bummers. Now that I have one, maybe I should go back to Colorado! 🙂
LOL, so true, they graze all over the place, it’s weird. This one was at the YMCA and he bugled for us a bit, protecting his harem of about 5 females and many yearlings. Yes, come back with a camera, it would be worth it!
Lord willing, we’ll get another chance to visit, and this time with a camera or two! 🙂
